He’s a graduate of the Certified Auctioneer Institute at Indiana University and has served on the Auction Advisory Board for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Rodney is also well-known across Southern Illinois as the lead cattle auctioneer at Cattlemen’s Livestock in Wayne City and the Southern Illinois Equine Sale in Goreville. Rooted in the region, Rodney operates a small cattle farm near Crab Orchard that has been in his family since 1854—making him fifth generation to care for the land.
